Biographical note:
Derib and Job have been writing Yakari stories for over 30 years and have both received lifetime achievement awards for their outstanding work. At the comics festival at Angoulême in 2006, Yakari won the “prix jeunesse 7-8 ans” or “youth prize 7-8 years.”
