Rene Goscinny, also the author ofLucky LukeA” and creator ofAsterix,A” is one of the most-read French writers in the world with around 500 million sales worldwide. Jean Tabary started his career in 1956 at the French comics magazine Vaillant-later renamed Pif-for which he drewRichard et Charlie,A”TotocheA” andCorinne et JeannotA” before starting his long-lasting collaboration with Goscinny in 1962.
